The paver program is a great way to commemorate a special person or great event and to honor those that have served our great country . As the Memorial project was in its conception the Paver Program was always in the grand plan. Initially 400 pavers were sold and engraved. All 400 pavers at that time were placed on the right side walk among some 10,000 pavers that line the walkway and surround the Flash Black Granite and Globe of the world. Since 1998 another 500 engraved Pavers have been installed. 
All engraved Pavers after the original 400 have been methodically placed on the left walkway around the etched Black Granite with 96 names of Boone County Military men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice in combat so we may have the free and enterprising life that we have today.

Pavers can be purchased any time through out the year. If the request for a paver is to be installed prior to Memorial Day, Veterans Day or any other special event we ask that the order be submitted 90 days prior to the event.
